Ship Island
Some of the best beach area on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is located at ship island. The island attracts many who enjoy snorkeling, swimming, and scuba diving. The island is also home to Fort Massachusetts which was built in 1868 and is beautifully preserved. There are many dolphin sightings near the island as they feed off schools of fish in shallow waters. The water temperature in the summer is about 85°. The Park service has built a boardwalk about a third of a mile across the island to the South Beach this is the preferred swimming area. There are restrooms and freshwater showers as well as a covered picnic area for your convenience. There is also a snack bar located on the Boardwalk. Key West
Key West is the furthest southern point in the United States if you would proceed any further you would end up on the island of Cuba. Key West is actually closer to Cuba than the Florida mainland.

The Cayman Islands
The Cayman consist of three island that are located approximately 400 miles off the coast of Miami.
The islands are located in the Western Caribbean and are British territories. There are three island the Grand Cayman, the little Cayman and Cayman Brac. The Grand Cayman is the largest of the three which is approximately 75 mi.². The Cayman Brac is located about 8 miles north east of the Grand Cayman and this about 12 miles long and 2 miles wide. The island can be reached by either boat or small plane. The little Cayman is located about 5 miles west of Cayman Brac if you take a small plane from the Grand Cayman is about a 40 min. ride. The Island of Bimini
The island of Bimini is located in the western most district of the Bahamas according to Wikipedia.
