Smallest Island
What is the smallest island in the world? Where is it located? Could it be in the Caribbean, Asia or the Middle East. Actually the smallest island is located off the coast of England in what is known as islands of Sicily.
This island is only 50 m² and is uninhabited except for a lighthouse that is the only building on the island which by the way takes up the entire island. There is another island that some people consider the smallest it is located off the coast of India. This island is called isle of Brahmaputra it is a Rock Island approximately 1 km.
Now I'm really going to confusion there is an island in the Philippines off the coast of Mindoro just a few minutes from San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. This island is so small that only four people can be on it at one time. So I leave the choice up to you the UK, India or the Philippines either way I don't think you'll be taken a vacation there.

Tramp Steamer
If you're looking for alternatives to a cruise ship you might try a tramp steamer. In days gone by this was an inexpensive way to take an ocean cruise. The modern cruise ship with endless buffets, casinos and never in ending entertainment has put this type of travel in a decline.
If you would like to experience a different type of cruise you might want to try cruising on a freighter. Of course you will not have the amenities that are found on a cruise ship. But you might enjoy seeing the everyday life on a working ship. You will have your own cabin but your meals will be taken with the crew. You will visit different ports of call that you may not experience on a traditional cruise ship. You will definitely have time to reflect on your life or read that book that you never had time to do. So if you're looking for an inexpensive way to travel the world this would be for you.

Problems with Sharks
You have found the island of your dreams and are ready to dive into the clear beautiful clear green water. I might caution you before you do this to check and see if there have been any local incidents with sharks remember not all beaches are only playgrounds for humans some could be a hunting grounds for sharks. The white sands of new Smyrna Beach Florida attract many thousands of tourist each year. It also seems to be a favorite vacation spot for sharks. In 2007 it had an increased amount of shark attacks. Out of 112 attacks around the world 17 were on the beach. They were not life-threatening attacks. Went swimming you must be aware of your surroundings for example you find yourself in the middle of a school of small fish commonly known as bait fish leave the water immediately at this is what sharks feed on.One of the most infested beaches in the world is Velzyland beach off the North Shore of Oahu. Hawaii the waters here are filled primarily with Tiger sharks. So before you dive into the crystal-clear waters of your island or favorite beach be sure you have checked with the locals about any shark incidents. And always try to swim where there is a lifeguard these tips may save you from being and appetizer for a hungry shark.

Pitcarn Island
This island is most remembered because the crew of the Bounty as in Mutiny on the Bounty settled on this island with their Tahitian wives in the 1790s.
After years of isolation from the outside world and American sailing vessel happened to stumble across this island in 1808. The American sailors expected to meet some type of hostile natives of the island but instead were greeted by English-speaking Anglo- Tahitians. Who were the direct descendants of the crew of the Bounty. And that is how the world learned of the story of what happened to the members of the crew.
So if you're looking for a remote place to live where you can forget the everyday stress of life Pitcarin Island would probably be a great choice for you. Because the population of the island only numbers about 50 people who are the direct descendants of the mutineers of the Bounty.

My Favorite TV Episode
Guest post of the week by Ferdinand Livingston:
For many years, my husband and I have watched The Golden Girls television show. We have loved this show from the very beginning when it first aired. Our favorite episode revolves around the three women who live together getting a winning lottery ticket. They are very excited about it and begin planning how they will be spending their share of the money. Unknowingly, the oldest woman who lives in the home, gives the jacket they have hidden the ticket in, to a charity for auction. The jacket gets auctioned off and the winner donates the jacket to a local homeless shelter. The women pretend to be homeless so that they can search for the jacket. After spending a night in the shelter, they find that they can no longer use the ticket for their own selfish needs but decide to donate it to the shelter instead.
We love this episode, but, we also enjoy all of the other shows in this series. It is a hilarious show which tries to show the viewers what it would be like if women from different backgrounds decided to live together in later life. We always watch this show on our wWw.satellite911.COM and we enjoy it very much. The show is now playing in reruns and we can watch it any time we want to. We plan on watching for a long time.
